Research at WAVe – the Trinity Institute
Research is not an isolated area at WAVe, but a core pillar of its international work. It forms the foundation for sound analyses, responsible dialogue formats and long-term, viable societal impulses.
Through its statutes, a binding code of ethics and an independent research charter, WAVe operates within a clearly defined scientific framework. These foundations ensure transparency, independence and alignment with internationally recognized research and ethical standards.
WAVe's research work is organized into three closely interconnected areas that together form a coherent structure:
Already today, WAVe is recognized as a research-capable actor through its cooperations with international research institutes, collaboration with scientists active worldwide, and its integration into international networks. The work is cross-cultural, comparative and conducted with high sensitivity to political, societal and ethical contexts.
On this basis, WAVe is continuously developing its research activities. With the “Trinity - WAVe Institute,” research, education and international cooperation will be even more strongly structured and consolidated in the future, without giving up the openness of the network.
The goal of research at WAVe is to create scientifically sound findings that offer orientation, enable objectification, and can serve as a basis for decision-makers in politics, education, media and civil society.
WAVe understands research as a service to society: quiet, responsible, internationally compatible – and committed to people.
