Funding at WAVe
WAVe thrives through people, institutions and nations who take responsibility and think long-term. We understand funding not as a formal act, but as a partnership-based journey in service of research, education, dialogue and peace.
Funding at WAVe is possible on a project basis – particularly in the field of research. Individual studies, thematic research clusters or independent research projects can be specifically supported, always embedded within WAVe’s clearly defined scientific, ethical and institutional framework.
Beyond that, WAVe is internationally active as an organization: it initiates and hosts conferences, develops dialogue and media formats, and maintains a worldwide network spanning science, culture, diplomacy, media and civil society. These activities serve peace-building, mutual understanding between peoples, and the core principle of WAVe: respectful engagement with diversity based on shared values and freedom of belief.
Different support models are available for supporters, suitable for private actors as well as countries, institutions and state partners. These models are tailored individually and explained transparently. WAVe’s founders are personally available as points of contact and are happy to provide information about opportunities, structures and framework conditions.
WAVe places particular value on regular exchange with its supporters. Professional insights, project reports, background discussions and selected invitations to events and conferences are part of a support culture based on trust, openness and mutual appreciation.
At the same time, a clear principle applies: support means assistance – not influence. Scientific independence, content integrity and ethical guidelines are non-negotiable for WAVe.
Those who support WAVe contribute to responsible research, international dialogue and peace-building networks – and become part of a global network that works quietly and has lasting impact.
